About Carlie

500 HOUR RYT

Caught in the Middle

Carlie holds yoga in one hand and art in the other. Her mission is to marry the two and create a world that transcends what is conditioned within us; one that is bursting at the seams with movement and music that inspires, grounds, and mends a person’s soul- one breath, one beat at a time.

In yoga, Carlie has found joy in practicing and teaching Vinyasa, restorative, Bhakti, and sculpting-style formats. She incorporates her immersive studies in India along with a decade of personal practice to offer a fulfilling experience for students of all levels.

In art, you can find Carlie striking singing bowls for sound baths, mixing music for dancing, and taking portraits for creatives.

Each medium is an outlet for remembering, activating, and empowering oneself. Whether it be a yoga studio or a dance floor, Carlie approaches a space in a way that is playful yet grounded, often sweaty, and always soulful.

“Yoga begins with listening. When we listen, we are giving space to what is.”

— Richard Freedman
